Collaborations and networks

Together towards a resilient European manufacturing industry

Projects we work with

Logo-ecosystem-transparent

Project ecosystem for European manufacturing data & services

The five innovation projects AMIDS, DIONE-X, ESCOM, EuProGigant and Flex4Res have joined forces. The goal of the project ecosystem is to demonstrate how data can support value creation in manufacturing while describing the benefits of data-driven business models. Close collaboration with industry partners is key to making the project results relevant. 15 use cases address pressing challenges universal to the industry, such as reducing the CO2 footprint to achieve net zero or reconfiguring supply chains for increased resilience.

RaRe2-logo

RaRe2

The project RaRe2 aims to introduce sustainable, digitised manufacturing solutions to create rapid, reconfigurable and crisis-resilient systems that are able to quickly ramp-up production speed to meet new societal and customer demands. Its objective is to establish a flexible, resilient Holistic Ecosystem Platform, enabled by the interaction among many European organizations interested in cooperating in the fast reconfiguration of process chains, through collaborative systems and adaptable workforce up-skilling.

R3GROUP-Logo

R3GROUP

The R3GROUP project is an initiative funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme that aims to support the resilience of European manufacturing firms by providing tools to enable rapid reconfigurability. The project is developing solutions to transform the agility of the manufacturing sector and build a more resilience supply chains capable to adapt to unpredictable events.

ai4manufacturing

ai4manufacturing is the connecting community hub that contributes to the innovation of the manufacturing industry with AI, and supports learning and interaction with a community of peers and experts.

ACCURATE-logo

ACCURATE

The European research project ACCURATE, which stands for Achieving Resilience Through Manufacturing as a Service, Digital Twins, and Ecosystems, focuses on improving the resilience, sustainability and adaptability of manufacturing value chains. ACCURATE aims to create resilient Manufacturing as a Service (MaaS) value chains that can withstand both long-term global challenges and short-term disruptions.

UNDERPIN

UNDERPIN is an EU-funded initiative whose ambitions is to establish a pan-European data space tailored for manufacturing, especially within refinery and renewable energy sectors. The project emphasises dynamic asset management, predictive and prescriptive maintenance and secure cross-organisational and cross-use-case data sharing.

CREDIT-Logo

CREDIT

The CREDIT Project is a European initiative that advances circular remanufacturing by creating a digital backbone combining multi-layered Digital Twins, traceability, AI-driven decision support and an open, distributed ICT platform. Through cross-sector use cases, it aims to make remanufacturing more efficient, scalable and sustainable while reducing material waste and strengthening European industrial competitiveness.

Logo-AgileHand

AgileHand

The AgileHand project develops advanced, AI-based solutions to enable robots to grade, handle and package soft or deformable products — such as fruits, fish or meat — with the same speed and precision that conventional robots apply to rigid goods. By combining a Smart Sensing Suite, a Self-Adaptive Handling, Sorting and Packaging Suite, and an Agile, Flexible & Rapidly Reconfigurable Suite, it aims to make European production lines more flexible, agile and reconfigurable, boosting efficiency and reducing waste.

PeneloPe

The project PeneloPe aims to develop a novel closed-loop digital pipeline: An end-to-end digital manufacturing solution, enabling a bidirectional dataflow for seamless integration across the entire manufacturing value chain.

Horizon Results Booster

Horizon Results Booster

The Horizon Results Booster is a support service launched by the European Commission to help projects turn their research results into real-world impact. Through tailored services it guides beneficiaries to maximise the scientific, social, economic and policy value of their innovations.
