The role of CONTACT Software in the project

CONTACT Software provides its platform, CONTACT Elements for IoT, as the foundation for implementing the initial prototypes within the context of the industry-related use cases. Additionally, the company focuses on creating the common data space developed for the interconnection of digital factories.

CONTACT plays an important role in the research and use of the Pontus-X ecosystem. In this context, the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) plays a major role in supporting the project with an interoperable standard for information exchange.
